What Building a Better Maine Looks Like to Me

ree

As I've traveled across our district and talked with so many of you, I've heard the same desire time and time again: the desire for a stronger, more prosperous future for our families and our communities. My commitment to building a better Maine is rooted in these conversations and in the values that have been passed down through generations in my own family.

Building a better Maine isn’t about big-government solutions or one-size-fits-all policies. It's about empowering the people who make our state so special—the small business owners on Main Street, the hard-working folks in our middle class, and the families who are trying to make ends meet.

For me, building a better Maine starts with a strong and resilient economy. We need to create an environment where local businesses can thrive, not just survive. This means cutting through unnecessary red tape and regulations that stifle innovation and growth. It means investing in our workforce, ensuring that Mainers have the skills and training they need to succeed in the jobs of today and tomorrow. And it means supporting the industries that have long been the backbone of our state, while also embracing new opportunities.

A better Maine also means a more connected Maine. It means ensuring that every community, no matter how rural, has access to reliable, high-speed internet. It means improving our infrastructure to make our roads safer and our commutes shorter. And it means supporting our public schools, giving our students the best possible education so they can become the leaders of the next generation.

Most importantly, building a better Maine is a collaborative effort. It’s not something I can do alone. It requires listening to each other, respecting different points of view, and working together to find common-sense solutions. I am committed to being a representative who is accessible, transparent, and, above all, a voice for you.

My campaign is about putting our community first, and I hope you will join me on this journey.
